It’s that time of year again, when we make the switch from Tax Season to Summer. That means that we stop working six or seven days a week, and start working five (or even fewer!).
Starting June 15, our hours in the office will no longer reliably be 9 am- 5 pm. We haven’t been seeing clients in the office due to the COVID outbreak but instead have used our drive- through service to handle the pick-up, drop-off, and signing of documents and tax returns. We’ll continue to do so - the only change is that you’ll need to schedule with Robyn before you come.
The extended due dates for tax returns are July 15 (federal) and July 30 (Iowa). We continue to accept tax files (from current and new clients) and will get as many done as possible prior to the July deadlines. We’ll file extensions for any returns that aren’t done, signed, and ready to file by the deadline. They will then be due on October 15.
It’s been a long, strange season and we’re looking forward to slowing down and enjoying the summer. We hope your summer is off to a good start, as well.
